The Estwing 22 oz Pointed Tip Rock Hammer (E3-22P) is the one used by more rockhounds and geologists than any other. At just 2lbs it is easy to carry but heavy enough to get the job done. E3-22P has a one-piece drop forged and fully polished steel pointed tip rock pick with the Estwing shock reduction grip which has been tested to reduce shock by 50%. The improved shock reduction allows for longer work periods before tiring. E3-22P has a square striking head and a radius top which allows for prying rocks out of their matrix with the pointed tip.
