Black Amethyst from Uruguay was First Found in 2012.

These are amethyst stalactitic looking formations of thin velvet like fingers that are coated in drusy quartz and a natural mixture of minerals during their growth that make them appear purple black or purple grey or simply shiny grey or black. They are a stunning display to see. We were only able to get a few of these pieces. The demand is very high and there are very few sellers.

This one of a kind piece has medium thick fingers with a dark black drusy base and background.

This sculpture is 4.3" tall (11cm) by 5.1" wide (13.1cm) and 2.8" (7.2cm) deep weighs 1.57 lb (715g)

This one of a kind piece has two distinct sections. The left side is thin black fingers in 3 vugs, while the right side is thick fingers in a greyish purple amethyst. The true colors are hard to catch by camera. This piece is much more stunning in person...but it looks beautiful in these photos too! It has a different look from different angles, a very interesting piece.This is one of our favorites!
