126g Needles Blue Agate in Matrix Slab 12

Description

This is a rare and beautiful brecciated 126g (630carat) slab with Needles Blue Agate in a matrix mix with its host Rhyolite. This is an old stock specimen from the Blue Danube Mine that we got from Maggie McShan’s niece in 2004 or 2005. This piece has several small vugs with quartz crystals. Large slabs like this are very difficult to find anymore. The Agate colors include dark, medium and light blue with some greens, browns and white. This specimen will make a stunning display slab or should produce several beautiful cabs.

This slab weighs 4.45 oz or 0.28 lb. (126g) and measures 5.75 x 3.5 x 0.22 inches (14.6cm x 8.9cm x 5.7mm)
