This is an exceptional specimen of AAA Gem Quality Shattuckite. This piece will make a prominent centerpiece display in any collection of mineral specimens. It has light turquoise, with deep azure blue Shattuckite and reddish brown steel Cuprite, with green Dioptase and Malachite crystallized spots and veins, and even some blue Linarite. This is a fully polished plate of the finest Congolese secondary copper mineral specimens you will find anywhere. This is Old Stock material from the old mines (now abandoned) in the Katanga (formerly Shaba) Province in the Copper Belt Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This piece will make many fine cabochons if that is your desired use of this one of a kind specimen.
