Almandine Garnets with mica in Feldspar and Quartz

Description

This is a very nice specimen of Almandine Garnets with mica in a white matrix of quartz and feldspar from the Spruce Pine Mining District. The garnets are very well formed. This is a great cabinet specimen.

It weighs 10.9 oz or 0.68lb (310g) and measures roughly 4 x 2.3 x 1.7 inches ( 10.1 x 5.9 x 4.4 cm) the largest Garnet Crystal measures about 11.4mm
