Description
This is a completely natural Barite Rose Rock Crystal formation with rose petal formations on two sides of the specimen. This specimen is a combination of barite, quartz sand and hematite. It was collected from the world-famous Norman, Oklahoma area. A famous collector from Oklahoma, L. Shearer, gave these barite formations the name “flowers of the mineral kingdom”. Specimens of this quality are extremely difficult to find and have rarely been collected in decades due to land development.
