Beautiful Quartz and Amethyst Stalactite Cluster with Custom Stand

This is a rare and beautiful one of a kind specimen of a Quartz and Amethyst Stalactite Cluster. This piece features stalactites with four of them polished plus it is polished on the sides and back. This is an exceptional eye catching conversation piece which displays very well. It is from the Las Torres Mine, Artigas, Uruguay. This was acquired at the 2023 Franklin, NC Rock, Gem and Mineral Show from a minerals dealer from Uruguay. We just could not pass up this very unique piece!

This specimen cluster weighs 69.2 oz or 4.325 lbs (1.962 kg)    the stand weighs 16.7 oz or 1.05 lbs (475g) The specimen on the stand weighs 85.98 oz or 5.37 lbs (2.437 kg)

The specimen cluster is 6.52 inches wide by 4.23 inches tall by 3.8 inches deep (16.5 x 10.7 x 9.6 cm) Specimen on the stand measures 6.11 inches tall (15.5 cm)
