Description
This is a beautiful small freestanding display of exposed surface Boulder Opal on Ironstone with flashes of blues, greens and white visible. There are light brown ironstone swirl veins that contrast the dark brown matrix. This piece was polished to a nice football-like shape with the bottom cut flat. This is an old stock specimen that came from the 36+ year collection of E&L Roth.
This wonderful specimen measures 1.4 x 0.5 x 0.64 inches (3.5 x 1.36 x 1.63 cm) and weighs 0.44 oz (13 grams or 65 cts).
