Description
This is a thunderegg polished half from the Fallen Tree bed in the Mill Creek drainage of the Ochoco Mountains in Central Oregon. This is a stunning thunderegg with what looks like a view of a pond outside of a cave. The pond is a blue/grey color with faint waterlines in white topped off by a strong thick white waterline topped with pink opal. The opal is coated with clear drusy quartz inside the vug which creates the interior of the cave. This is certainly an exceptional thunderegg!
This specimen weighs 3.7 oz or 0.23 lbs. (106g) and measures 3.1 x 2.2 x 1 inches (7.9 x 5.7 x 2.5 cm)
