Rare Large Cabinet Blue Opal var Hyalite on a matrix of white Feldspar and Mica. This specimen is an old stock piece from the 1950,s. This specimen has a stunning and beautifully textured plate of pale blue Hyalite that fluoresces amazingly bright! It is from the Chalk Mountain Mine, Spruce Pine, Mitchell County, North Carolina.
