Fluorescent 14 Chondrodite and Diopside on Calcite

This is a fluorescent specimen of Chondrodite (Yellow-golden) and Diopside (Blue-white) on Calcite (dull Red) recently collected from the Long Lake Zinc Mine (aka Richardson Zinc Mine, aka Lynx Mine), Olden Township, Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada. This is an amazingly unique specimen that explodes in color under SW Ultra-Violet light! Fluorescent Photos taken under a Way Too Cool Triple Wave 254/312/368 nm SW/MW/LW 9-Watt Lamp in a blackout box.

This specimen weighs 10.7 oz or 0.67 lbs (306g) and measures 3.4 x 2.8 x 1.8 inches (8.7 x 7.2 x 4.5 cm)
