This unique specimen was procured from the relatives of a 1950’s miner who got it years ago at the Franklin Mine. It explodes in color under SW Ultra-Violet light. Willemite fluoresces a brilliant green. Franklinite is non-fluorescent black. Photos taken in a blackout box with a Nikon CoolPix L-1 under a Way Too Cool 254 nm SW 9-Watt Lamp.
