Santa Eulalia Large Brown Dogtooth Calcite 7

Description

This is an old stock Brown dogtooth calcite plate we obtained from a mineral dealer in 2004 who went into the mines in Santa Eulalia in Chihuahua, Mexico and removed this specimen by hand himself. The brown Calcite has a thin partial layer of clear calcite as a coating on some of the scalehedral formations. This is a very nice representation of chocolate dogtooth calcite from that locale.

This specimen weighs 45.6 oz or 2.85 lbs (1.292 kg) and measures 6.1 x 4.7 x 2.8 inches (15.6 x 12 x 7.2 cm)
