Description
This is a stunning specimen from the ever-decreasing supply of Calcite found at the famous Elmwood Mine in Smith County Tennessee. This piece has a 3.1 inch (7.8 cm) Golden Amber double terminated crystal with two intergrown points, one is 2.19 inches (5.5 cm) long and almost became another double terminated crystal. But not quite. This unique specimen has two Sphalerite crystals on the main crystal and the bottom of the specimen has contact Barite on it. This is a very interesting specimen.
This specimen weighs 6.2 oz or 0.38 lb. (175g) and measures 3.1 x 2.6 x 1.5 inches (7.8 x 6.8 x 3.8 cm)
