Here’s an excellent specimen of Flake Mica (aka Scrap Mica) layers with Albite and Quartz interspersed. This is from the Clear River Valley, Lake Toxaway, NC.

This specimen weighs 6.5 oz or 0.4 lbs (185g) and measures 2.8 x 2.5 x 1.5 inch (7.3 x 6.3 x 3.9 cm)
