This is Permian aged petrified wood from the tree fern, Tietea singularis. The inner wood detail is very fascinating and may have some pinkish-red color. It comes from the Araguania petrified forest of Brazil.
This is a very nice petrified wood bookend set from Brazil. They are a color mix of tans, browns, whites and greys. They have a unique porous texture and the outer edges are banded by a tan and brown “bark”
This set measures 5.85 x 5 x 2.6 in (14.8 x 12.9 x 6.6 cm).
With a weight of 77.6 oz or 4.8 lb (2.2 kg) This set will hold most books.
