Rhodochrosite from an undisclosed mining location in Colorado from the 1940’s and 1950’s. This was is a box marked Colorado from the S.R. Steinhauser Collection. He was a geologist with the Atomic Energy Commission doing research and mineral explorations in Western USA during that timeframe.
