Septarian Carved Sea Turtles over Calcite Crystal Lined ribbon Vug 16

Description

This very rare one-of-a-kind carving from Madagascar has mamma and baby Sea Turtles climbing up on a grey (Bentonite) and with minor yellow Calcite overlooking a ribbon vug filled with yellow Calcite Crystals and Brown lines (Aragonite). This piece was a beautiful center display from the E&L Roth collection. This is a very interesting specimen carved out of a large piece of Septarian that has many different viewing angles.

This specimen weighs 32.5 oz. or 2.03 pounds (922g) and measures 5.3 x 3.3 x 3 inches (13.4 x 8.4 x 7.8 cm)
