Description
Michigan Thomsonite is a RARE zeolite mineral found only at the Lake Superior shoreline of Grand Marais. This specimen is from Schortmann’s Minerals purchased in 1968. Schortmann’s operated from 1936 to 1971. This specimen with White, Pink and Grey bands (with small eyes on the White and Grey) came from the John J Newton collection.
This wonderful specimen measures 22.8 x 20.3 x 13.1mm and weighs 10.5 grams and is a highly polished specimen
