From the Franklin, NC Gem and Mineral Show…. We found this beautiful small cabinet Velvet over fibrous Malachite Specimen at a Malachite and Gems from Africa Dealer. This captivating Velvet Malachite has deep emerald green silky crystals covering this piece in shimmering formations. The piece displays a rich velvety texture with chatoyant luster that flashes in the light as the specimen is moved. In an area with little light this piece looks very plain. As soon as it is seen under lights or sunlight the beauty emerges with each changing angle of view. This is an excellent display piece! This specimen is from the Democratic Republic of Congo
