Very Large 16.9 cm (6.67 inch) Polished Face Las Choyas Geode Half with a large Crystal vug 2

Description

This is a large Las Choyas Geode that was cut and has a matte finish polish. It has botryoidal like clusters of clear to grey/white quartz crystals. There is a large Calcite formation on the bottom left above the interesting pink swirl of chalcedony on the bottom edge of the rind. Geodes this large are few and far between.

This specimen measures 6.67 x 6.37 x 3 inches (16.9 x 16.1 x 7.6 cm) and weighs 57.1 ounces, or 3.57 lbs (1.62kg)
