Old Stock Rough Youngite
Light Salmon and Pinkish Jasper coated with a greyish chalcedony with some botryoidal formations on this natural rough old stock specimen. This piece is from our personal collection that we have had for many years. We procured it years ago in a mineral swap with a rockhound from Montana. The Chalcedony on this specimen is fluorescent (Green) under SW Ultra Violet Light as shown in the photos. All photos were taken with a Nikon CoolPix L-1 digital camera. Photos are taken outdoors in natural light… with fluorescent Photos being taken under a Way Too Cool 254 nm SW 9-Watt Lamp in a blackout display box.
