Iridescent Chalcopyrite in Dolomite on a stunning large calcite floater from Reynolds County, Missouri. Brilliant iridescent
colors of blue, purple, and green/gold.  Natural iridescent specimens can be found in the lead mines in the region;
however, these are few and far between. This particular specimen is extremely attractive in color, luster and coverage of
the Chalcopyrite. The multiple crystalline calcite even has a clear to smoky coloring. An excellent specimen from the area.

This Dolomite plate with Chalcopyrite measures 3.9 x 3.7 x 0.74" (101 x 96 x 18mm) on an angle calcite crystal
trunk floater that measures 4.2 x 2.4 x 2.4" (108 x 62 x 64mm). The Chalcopyrite crystals are up to 1/4" (6mm)
across. The specimen weighs 21.6oz or 1.35lb (612g)

The natural bevel angle lets this piece stand free in a very complimentary display position for viewing the Calcite
formation and the Chalcopyrite.
