Story of the Dragon Eggs
These were originally found by farmers in China long ago. They did not know what they were or the value of what they had found.
Some thought they were giant bird eggs…”Too hard and too old” Others thought they were an ancient fish eggs. Still others thought they were just round rocks and used them for building walls. Finally a village elder took them to the local administrator. The local administrator did not know what they were either. And so up the bureaucracy the mystery egg went...
Finally the mystery egg was taken to the royal court. The chief scientist studied the egg closely for some time. Finally he determined what they were. “These are Dragon Eggs and only for the emperor!” he proclaimed .

Now we will give you the real origins of these Dragon Eggs… In honor of that great discovery, these replica Dragon eggs are made in a small workshop in the South of China. The craftsmen carve agate out of solid blocks, and form them to the egg shape. Put them in an acid bath to eat away a small part of the outside and leave the veins. These are 100% shaped and formed by man (or woman of course). Very unique!
