This is an exceptional old stock 1950’s specimen of zoned light Purple Fluorite with Yellow Phantoms. This piece is a plate of cubes with a bottom coating of Dolomite. The exact mine was not noted on this piece; it was only tagged cave-in-rock. This is a highly desirable collector specimen from the Cave-in-Rock area of Hardin County, IL. This piece is fluorescent under SW, MW and LW Ultraviolet light.
