This is a beautiful specimen of Smoky Amethyst we procured from a mineral dealer in 2015. This was mined from the Purple Heart Mine in South Carolina which is a private mine not open to the public. The red Hematite Fire inclusions are exclusive in smoky amethyst to this mine in the regional area. A very nice collectible!
