Boulder Opal Carved Gem Bear from Winton, Queensland, Australia

Very Rare and amazing find! This is a beautiful carved brown bear in Ironstone with both large Surface Opal and also with Veins of Opal as well. This bear has an integral base that stands flat for a great visual display. This is an old stock specimen that came from the 36+ year collection of E&L Roth. This is a special one-of-a-kind item.

This wonderful specimen measures 2.5 x 1.9 x 1.5 inches (6.3 x 4.9 x 3.8 cm) and weighs 5.6 oz or 0.32 lb. (143 grams or 723.8 cts) and is a nicely polished specimen.
