Grape Agate Botryoidal Sphere from Indonesia

Here’s a special 71 mm Sphere made from botryoidal agate that forms a combination of fine brilliant purple radial aggregates “balls” that resemble a bunch of grapes in a purple to lavender color that has a stunning three-dimensional form and sparkling luster. When viewed through Opti-Visors or magnification, each individual “ball” has finite crystallized drusy-like surfaces. New specimen from Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Sphere weighs 12.5 oz or 0.78 lb (355g) and measures 2.8 inches (71 mm) diameter
