Excellent Specimen of an Ochoco Mountains, Lucky Strike Mine, Thunderegg  (Lithophysae).

This stunning large Thunderegg window is slightly milky with deep orange Moss in the center looking like a sailboat or mountains jutting up from the sea and cloudlike wisps that look like windblown sea swells. There is lots of moss in this piece and around the edges. There is a feature that looks like an island as the waters surrounding it in a nice opaque chalcedony. These picture stones are our favorites! What do you see? There is a light pink/tan contrasting border.  The matrix is typical Lucky Strike Mine mottled green rhyolite with brick red and lavender speckles with light tan to cream accents.
