Thomsonite from Grand Marais, Michigan 24

Description

Michigan Thomsonite is a RARE zeolite mineral found only at the Lake Superior shoreline of Grand Marais. This specimen is from Schortmann’s Minerals purchased in 1968. Schortmann’s operated from 1936 to 1971. This mottled Pink, White and Grey specimen came from the John J Newton collection.

This wonderful specimen measures 24.6 x 20.8 x 9.7mm and weighs 9.5 grams and is a highly polished specimen
