Drusy Coated Youngite Endcut

Nice brecciated patterns in darker pink colors to dark salmon. The uncut side is coated with a greyish botryoidal chalcedony. This makes an excellent display specimen (comes with acrylic stand…not shown) or may make some beautiful cabochons. From Guernsey, Wyoming. (shown dry and unpolished). The Chalcedony on this specimen is highly fluorescent (Green) under SW Ultra Violet Light as shown in the photos. All photos were taken with a Nikon CoolPix L-1 digital camera. Photos are taken outdoors in natural light… with fluorescent Photos being taken under a Way Too Cool 254 nm SW 9-Watt Lamp in a blackout display box.
