This is a beautifully polished hand carved Malachite Egg from the Democratic Republic of Congo that we procured at the Franklin Rock, Mineral and Gem Show from an African Minerals Dealer. There is a tiny spot that is recessed and did not take a polish. The patterns on this specimen are amazing. We always prefer the hand carved pieces to machine finished ones. This is a magnificent Display piece!
