This is a beautiful geode plate of deep purple Uruguay Amethyst we procured from a South American mineral dealer. Amethyst from Uruguay is mined from the same igneous (volcanic) rock formation as the Amethyst to the North in Brazil. This geode plate has rough edges all around the vug opening. This piece comes with the stand shown in the 1st photo.
