Description
This is a beautiful Large freestanding display of Veined Boulder Opal in Ironstone with flashes of blues, greens and pink visible. There are light brown ironstone veins that contrast the dark brown matrix. This piece was as polished as the veins would allow in a sort of bowed in face where some of the surface is still rough. This is a very interesting display specimen with the bottom cut flat to show the best viewing angle. This is an old stock specimen that came from the 36+ year collection of E&L Roth.
This wonderful specimen measures 1.7 x 1.28 x 0.46 to 0.7 inches (4.4 x 3.2 x 1.18 to 1.9 cm) and weighs 1.44 oz or 0.09 lb. (41 grams or 205 cts).
