Description
This interesting specimen is from the Windisch collection, a 1960 specimen, number 538. It is listed as Scapolite and pyroxene with a SW Red notation (for the Scapolite). Under SWUV lighting we also found a golden yellow accent color which we have identified as Chondrodite. This rare specimen was collected in Huddersfield, Quebec, Canada. The 3 x 5 card shown comes with the specimen.
This specimen weighs 3.5 oz or 0.22 lbs. (100g) and measures 3 x 1.8 x 1.1 inches (7.5 x 4.5 x 2.9 cm) The large Scapolite Crystal measures 1.4 x 1 x 0.96 inches (3.5 x 2.6 x 2.4 cm)
