Large Rare White Dogtooth Calcite with Minor Galena 6

This is a large and exceptionally rare specimen of White Dogtooth Calcite Plate with Minor Galena. This unique specimen was purchased from a Brazilian Minerals dealer in Quartzsite Arizona and it is from Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil.  It has been in our personal collection for several decades now. This super piece has large scalenohedral formations surrounded by smaller dogtooth formations which produce an enchanting visual display as these white formations spread across matrix plates and are accented by the dark metallic grey sheen of the Galena. This is truly a one of a kind specimen that will become the centerpiece of your collection. This piece comes with a wood base that was not custom cut for this specimen…However…. it is a stable display base that allows repositioning of the piece to get different viewing angles of this beauty.
