Polished Face Fluorescent Dugway Double Geode Half 61

Description

This is a beautiful Chalcedony Fluorescent Double Dugway Geode. The vugs are lined with stream rows of Chalcedony with added fine quartz crystals, surrounded in chalcedony rings in a reddish brown to grey color. Of all the geodes from this locale, the doubles are our favorites as you normally get to see two different textures of fill within one specimen. The Chalcedony fluoresces a brilliant Green under Short Wave Ultra-Violet Light. This specimen cut face is polished. Fluorescent photos taken with a Nikon coolpix L1 camera with the specimen under a Way Too Cool 254 nm SW 9-Watt Lamp in a black out photo box. Non-fluorescent photos taken with same camera in outdoor natural light.
