Rare Clear Calcite Scalenohedrons on Matrix from South Africa

This is a very rare and beautiful clear cluster formation of Scalenohedron (dogtooth) Calcite from the Wessels Mine, Northern Cape, South Africa. We found this precious specimen in a Mineral Dealer’s inventory in Johannesburg, South Africa and had it shipped back to us. This is a rare find.

This specimen weighs 2.28 oz or 0.14 lbs (65g) and measures 2.2 x 1.8 x 1.2 inches (5.5 x 4.5 x 3.1 cm)
