Rhodonite Rough 10 from Africa

Description

This Rhodonite rough is from Africa. We were able to get a nice selection of rough and unpolished cut specimens from an old collector. This specimen has a vitreous luster with a mix of manganese oxide with the manganese ions producing a pink, grey-black and rust brown mix.

This specimen weighs 2.2 oz. or 0.13 lbs. (63g)
and measures 2.5 x 0.9 x 0.8 inches (6.5 x 2.3 x 2.2 cm)
