Rhodonite Rough 9 from Africa

Description

This Rhodonite rough is from Africa. We were able to get a nice selection of rough and unpolished cut specimens from an old collector. This specimen has a vitreous luster with a mix of manganese oxide with the manganese ions producing a pink, grey-black and rust brown mix.

This specimen weighs 3.1 oz. or 0.19 lbs. (88g)
and measures 2.6 x 1.6 x 1 inches (6.6 x 4 x 2.6 cm)
